I Just registered for my Spring '07 classes. Still going with the 13hrs scheme cause that's worked for me so far. I'm retaking my Psych class cause I got a D in it before cause I missed one frakin' test. I'm also taking Japanese 202, Fencing 227 (intermediate), Astronomy, and Ethics. The only early class I have is the Astronomy which is Sat mornings at 9am. I should be able to work at least 15hrs at work with this time table so I can get money again! Current Mood: accomplished

OK I know it's been a long time since my last update, but school has been hell. But this is mainly to give those concerned that I will be out of town next weekend (10/13-10/15) for a wedding. Also I'm working tomorrow 5-10:30, Saturday 1-10:30 and Sunday 4-8 so I won't be reachable during those times. I'm going to try to update more often from now on. 28th August 2006

: Next week
Yeah!! School starts this upcoming week!! Great Gods I never thought I'd be so happy about school starting up, but this summer has mostly been a bore of working at home and at my job. Classes start on Wednesday which is my busyest day I have. I'm going to have to get up real early to get down there on time, but it should be worth it. But, I also have some work hours first on Monday and Tuesday and I'm helping Shanna move into her apartement sometime on Monday. It's going to be a long first week. 23rd July 2006

Well, due to circumstances beyond my ability to control them, I'm going to cancell my hotel reservations for this years InCon. Between my dad losing his job and my love's parents, it's just too much to have to deal with trying to convince people to back off. But, by the Abyss, I will make reservations for next years Con and nothing will make me cancel them! Current Mood:

: Bad news
Well, my family got some bad news this morning, my dad was "let go" from his job. This means that money's going to be tight for a while until he can find a new job, which he thinks shouldn't take more then a month or two, hopefully less. This means that they had to cancel the family suite for InCon and when they found out that I had made my own reservations, they insisted that I cancel my own as well, so I can help pay some of the bills until things settle down. I must admit that I'm a bit torn between my obligations here. I promised Shanna that I'd reserve us a room for InCon back before May, but now my family needs me to hold onto as much money as I can so I can help pay the bills. I'm already going to be paying the tuition for the English class I'm retaking this semister and I'm paying for all the books and equipment I'll need for my calsses then. Like I said, I'm torn and I'm not entirely sure what I should do here. I want to be able to spend some quality time alone with my girlfriend, but I'm not entirely sure if it would be praticl eto piss off the people paying most of my tuition. If people can give me some suggestions, I'm listening. Current Mood:

Well, I've done it. I made my hotel reservations just 5 minutes ago. Nothing my dear parents can do from now on can change that, I'm an adult and I can work my own finances without needing their permission to use my money. Consider that my one -true- act of teenage rebellion since I never rebelled during my time in high school. I may be an adult legally, but I'm still in my teens for a few months. NINMU KANJYO!!!!!!! : Card update
Well, my folks are telling me I can't make a reservation for InCon because they seem to believe that even though they admit that legally I'm an adult, they're financially and "morally" responsible for me. BULL FUCKIN' SHIT!!! I am responsible for my own finances, even though I need their help when it comes to tuition, I can handle my money when it comes to anything else. As for "'morally' responsible" that's a load of dren and they know it! I am a responsible adult who can take care of himself and they want to continue on like I'm still their "little baby boy" despite the fact that I am none of those things and haven't been in a very long time. Well, I say frell them, I'm going to make my reservation tomorrow afternoon whether they like it or not, and they'll get no compensation what so ever. I was willing to be reasonable, but not anymore, I've had it when it comes to this issue, I'm making the reservation no matter what they say! Current Mood: pissed

Whooray! I just got some good news. The Sheraton Hotel, the hotel that InCon has decided to continue the special rates for the con! I just hope that my debit card gets here in the next couple of days. I'm making the reservations no matter what my folks say, I gave them a chance to bargin, gave them an opportunity to reason, but they refused so that's their loss I just won't componsaate them for the payment difference per night like I offered them. : Hotel update
Well, I tried to make a reservation yesterday, but it seems that the hotel doesn't take checks at all! So I'm going to have to wait for my debit card to get here before i make the reservations, but by then the InCon rates will have expired by then!!! That means that it's going to cost me $310 for the Thursday-Sunday reservations!!!!!! As you can tell, I'm a bit put out by all this, but that's not the whole thing. My dear father went ahead and made a reservation for that ttime froame for a two room suite for four people (him, mom, Shanna, and I) without even asking me if I had any plans to reservation of my own!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He knew that I was thinking about making my own reservations and he just disregarded that and went with his own ideas!!! NEedless to say I was ready to tear him to shreads then and there. But, he still lives and I'm going to reserve my own room to make a point to him! Later. Current Mood:

Well, I just found out that the reservations will only cost $210 if I go with the online rates. But I can't make the reservations until I get my debit card which I should be able to use as a credit card. I can still try to find out if I'll have to pay up front if I call in the reservations. Because if I only have to pay when i check in, I'll call it in and pay by check. Current Mood: accomplished

I may have good news (at least for me) in the hotel department. Depending on how they define a night it might only cost me $210 instead of $315 since I would only be reserving the room for two nights (Friday and Saturday night.) The reservation would be from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning, so I'm not entirely sure, so I'll find out when I make the reservation over this next week. Laters Current Mood:

Well, I found out that my dear sister will be able to visit in the next few weeks. I'm incredibly, happy about that, I just wish it was a couple weeks later so she could go to InCon with me and Mei. On the note of InCon, both Mei and I are now registered for it at the low price of $40 each for the whole weekend. The only thing I have left to worry about is paying for the room, I could go with the prices on the hotel's website or I could go with the price available thru the InCon site, there's a $10-$20 difference between the two. You can see my problem, at the lower price we can go with (at the largest) a size double bed, while at the main site I can get a bed I can actually fit on. Again, you can see my problem. Yea!!!!!!!!!! I will be able to afford to pay for a room at the hotel for InCon (see the post-before-last) after I get this week's as well as this upcoming week's paychecks. They're combined income is about $300. Since I just set up a checking account yesterday, I'll have a checkbook and I'll just have to transfer some cash (about $30) and I'll be able to pay for not only the room ... but the WANDS!!!!!! As you can tell, I'm completely estactic about this. I haven't been able to tell Shanna the good news just yet, but I plan on doing so soon. Well, that's all for now. Later Current Mood: accomplished

Well, I set up my schedule for Fall '06 today: basic 13hr schedule but NO fRIDAY, SATURDAY, -OR- SUNDAY classes, and nothing earlier than 9AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I am quite happy since I am most definetly a morning person (as anybody who really knows me knows). I'm taking Second Year Japanese 1, Fencing, English Comp W131, Logic, and Studies in East Asian Thought. So, the hardest class Ill be taking is the logic class and that's the 9 am class (lovely).
